A week ago, from Wednesday October 29th until Friday October 31st, I spent three days in wonderful Boulder, Colorado as a guest of the Boulder.me Job Fair.
I've seen first hand how great the Boulder tech. community is. It's very close knit with a lot of brilliant developers. There are also approximately 120 start-ups in a town with the population of approx. 120,000 people. Also ranked as one of the healthiest places to live, it's a great place to go hiking, snowboarding or even shopping.
In any case, the job fair was great. I had a great hotel room, with a king size bed and two 12 ft. high windows overlooking the downtown area. Way to butter me up. In the end, I left knowing that some day, I would return.
Little did I know, that day would come faster than I could've imagined. Less than two weeks later, I was given an offer to start a job at one of the many tech start-ups out in Boulder. I haven't yet finished the exchanging of paper work, so I'll name the company later, but I'm very excited and will have a lot to say about it very soon.
Also, the site has a new design, not 100% yet, still have some kinks to work out. Let me know if you encounter any issues.
